Medi Home Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., seeks an experienced Hospice agency scheduler in the State College, PA location.
The Scheduler is responsible for all patient visit scheduling under the supervision of the Clinical Care Supervisor, and clerical duties of all matters that pertain to patient care personnel. Duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Schedules home health visits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reviews schedules to assess staff availability on an ongoing basis.
- Places welcome calls to patients.
- Prepares weekend visit schedules.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, and one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, experience in scheduling personnel, basic clerical and data entry skills also required;
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines;
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Previous home health scheduling experience strongly preferred.
