Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent relationship management capabilities, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition. The Staffing Coordinator will work closely with hiring CNAs, CMAs, LPNs, and RNs to facilitate a smooth hiring process to fulfill current staffing requests and contracts.
Duties
- Collaborate with local facilities and contracts to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct research and lead generation activities to identify potential candidates for various positions.
- Manage internal recruiting efforts by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
- Assist in executive recruiting efforts by identifying high-level candidates for key positions.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular updates to management.
- Communicate and facilitate current and future staffing contracts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in staffing coordination, with relationship management.
- Familiarity with local healthcare facilities.
- Strong research skills with the ability to identify potential candidates through various channels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on building rapport with candidates and other staffing coordinators.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the recruitment process.
- Knowledge of best practices in talent acquisition and an understanding of employment laws and regulations.
