Overview
Large medical practice with Facial Cosmetic Surgery office is seeking a friendly, energetic, and engaging person for our front office position. This is a patient-facing role, and as a brand ambassador for the practice, the top focus is outstanding customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a pleasant demeanor for greeting and interacting with patients and guests. Candidates must be confident in discussing surgical procedures and aesthetic services, selling skincare products, and collecting payments. The ability to communicate with a wide range of patients is required, and prior experience in a medical office is preferred.
Responsibilities:
The position includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing top-notch, in-person customer service
- Interacting with patients in person and over the phone
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries
- Making recommendations and selling skincare products
- Describing surgical procedures and aesthetic services in detail
- Collecting payments for services
- Maintaining continuous communication with new and existing patients
- Monitoring and following up on digital leads, and tracking/reporting lead status
- Working in a team-oriented environment
- Assisting with other responsibilities and departments as needed
Qualifications include:
- Prior medical receptionist experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be interested in cosmetic surgery and aesthetics, and eager to gain in-depth knowledge about both.
- Must have excellent phone etiquette, be organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize while handling a high volume of patient activity.
- Competence in Office 365 preferred.
- Must have a pleasant voice, high energy, and outgoing personality.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is preferred.
