Exciting Inpatient APP Opportunities Available in Southern New Jersey :
1. Inpatient Neurosurgery APP
- Schedule : 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (transitioning to 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week as the team expands).
- Coverage : Primarily weekdays, with every 5th weekend included in the regular schedule. No nights, call, or OR responsibilities.
- Role : Focus on floor work, rounding on patients, and managing new neurosurgical consults in collaboration with neurosurgical residents and attendings.
- Experience Required : Neurosurgical experience preferred; Ortho spine or Neuro ICU backgrounds will be considered. This role is not open to new graduates.
2. Neuro ICU APP - Day / Night Split
3. Neuro ICU Nocturnist APP
Important Note : Due to hospital policy, Acute Care Certification is required for Nurse Practitioners. Unfortunately, FNPs cannot be considered for these roles. Additionally, APPs in the Neuro ICU should be comfortable reviewing imaging as part of patient management.
