Private practice Eye Surgeon is seeking a Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join their team in Forest Hills Pennsylvania.
The Opportunity
The right candidate will be committed to growing the practice while establishing high quality patient care. This opportunity requires availability full-time during Monday – Friday in an office setting.
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Ophthalmic Tech will perform accurate ophthalmic procedures and testing
· Obtain detailed information from patients and perform a variety of diagnostic tests to the eyes to aid in the diagnosis and treatment course
· Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
· Maintain patient room and inventory of all patient care supplies
· Administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor
Position Requirements
· Experience with Visual Fields, OCT’s, Pentacam, Fundus photography & IOL master
· Knowledge of medical terminology.
· Experience with ICD-10 and CPT codes.
· Computer experience and keyboard skills.
