Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a Level I Trauma Center. This position requires expertise in various medical imaging techniques, including CT scans, X-ray, and diagnostic radiology. The CT Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations and optimal patient care.
Duties
- Perform CT scans and other medical imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assist in the identification of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
- Maintain equipment functionality through regular inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and support.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CT Technologist or similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with nuclear medicine, mammography, and various diagnostic imaging modalities is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology related to medical imaging procedures.
- Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners and X-ray machines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
