Shift: 7 am - 7 pm
Unit Details: Number of Beds:
- CCU: 10 beds
- IMC: 30 beds
- MS Level 7: 27 beds
- MS Level 8: 48 beds
- Skilled Care: 33 beds
Patient Ratios:
- CCU: 1:2-3
- IMC: 1:4-6
- MS Level 7: 1:5-6
- MS Level 8: 1:5-8
- Skilled Care: 1:8-10
Documentation System:
- Cerner Corporation - Soarian
Position Highlights: Schedule:
- Self-scheduling: 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Travelers will submit preferred schedules, but final schedules will be balanced based on unit needs
- Schedule created in 4-week blocks
Qualifications: Experience Required:
- Experience in Nursing required
- Prefer candidates with 1 year of ICU or ED experience
- Must be comfortable working with patient ratios from 1:2 to 1:10
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS (Required for CCU and ED assignments)
Special Features of the Unit:
- Charge nurses are present on each unit and may take patient assignments as needed
- Nurse aides/patient care techs available, with ratios varying between 1:7-15
- RT assigned to multiple units; nurses are expected to troubleshoot respiratory equipment (Vents, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, AirVo)
- Telemetry/monitor techs available 24/7
