Medical Talent is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in Wichita, KS. Shift: 3x12 hr nights Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $2400 / Week
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. This role involves working in a 39-bed private room medical/surgical/respiratory unit, utilizing Cerner EMR.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
Active nursing license verified through Nursys or License/Certificate Verification.
Compliance with health and onboarding requirements, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and 2-Step PPD/IGRA testing.
Successful completion of required professional verifications, background checks, and competency assessments.
