Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the obstetrical care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns, including assessments, monitoring, and interventions.
- Anticipate and plan for safe deliveries and respond promptly to any complications.
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and provide postpartum care to mothers and infants.
- Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education programs.
- Delegate tasks and supervise assigned personnel according to their education and experience.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure quality care and positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact state licensure.
- Certifications: ACLS, NRP, and BLS (current and valid).
