This is a Non-Emergency driver position. Typical calls include dialysis and dialysis related appointments.
Job Duties:
- Transport passengers safely, load & unload both passengers and belongings.
- Follow schedule as directed by dispatch.
- Maintain vehicle interior and exterior, notify transportation staff of any maintenance issues.
- Complete and turn in all required route documents at the end of shift.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Safety and security minded, able to read and use GPS & other apps. Possess a good working knowledge of Shelby County.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, customer service/team oriented, effective communicator.
- Able to lift and safely operate ferno/stryker stretchers.
- Must possess a minimum of a valid F Endorsement License, or the ability to obtain one.
- Less than two moving violations on driver’s record within the last five years
- No more than one accident on drivers record within the last five years
- Pass Federal Criminal Background Check
- First Aid/CPR certification would be great but not required,
Full time and part time shifts available.
Starting Pay $13.50
