About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Lab Supervisor for our Blood Bank department. As a Lab Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Blood Bank laboratory, ensuring that all procedures and protocols are followed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of laboratory technicians and ensuring that all testing is performed in a timely and accurate manner. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care possible.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) years of experience as a Medical Technologist registered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP- preferred) or equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of Blood Bank procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Blood Bank laboratory
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Responsibilities:
