About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced OB Scrub Tech to join our team in the Women's Center. As an OB Scrub Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during labor and delivery. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the surgical equipment and supplies, as well as assisting the surgeon during the procedure. Assists mother with infant care (e.g. diaper changing, bottle-feeding, etc.) under the direct supervision of the RN and communicates problems accordingly. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in this role. Ultimately, your contribution will help us provide the highest quality care to our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Current certification as a surgical technologist
- Ability to work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in surgical technology or related field
- Previous experience as a surgical or OB Tech is strongly preferred.
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Experience with robotic surgical systems
Responsibilities:
