Job Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform regular floor maintenance per Medicalodges standards and policies.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Stripping, waxing, and buffing hard surfaces.
- Cleaning or shampooing carpets.
- Operating floor cleaning machines like buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
- Performing minor floor repairs.
- Maintaining and cleaning floor equipment and supplies.
- Following workplace safety standards.
- Restoration and Repair:
- Repairing or refinishing damaged or worn-out floor surfaces.
- Removing old flooring and preparing surfaces for new flooring.
- Installing new floor materials.
- Other Duties:
- Assisting with other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Moving furniture for cleaning purposes.
- Documenting completion of scheduled floor care maintenance.
- Requesting supplies as needed.
- Reporting malfunctions of powered equipment.
- Wearing adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance and repair functions of building and equipment.
- Perform regular floor maintenance per Medicalodges standards and policies.
- Ensures a safe environment for employees, residents, and visitors.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
- Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work positively with others in a team environment
