Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 03 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Interventional Radiology Rad Tech needed for 13-week contract. Typical schedule is 5 x 8 hour shifts days but facility may consider 4 10 hour shifts. Duties include :
- Instructs and prepares patients for examinations and assists Radiologist during procedures.
- Demonstrates competence and proficiency in operation of all equipment and reports malfunctions to manager or lead.
- Completes all assigned procedures in a timely manner and uses time between procedures to department advantage-assisting others and or assisting with room turnover.
- Many vascular surgery cases coverage Qualifications :
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- 2 prior years experience
- Clear NY Tech License in hand
