What MedicalPeople looks for in Stepdown Nurses to join our Nursing Team :
Strong clinical Nurses who have comprehensive medical nursing knowledge
Need to have experience with advanced Telemetry equipment
Ability to respond quickly to emergent situations.
Experience assisting with ventilators, tracheostomies, arterial lines, IVs, central lines, IV pumps, syringe pumps, PD catheters, Foley catheters, G-tubes, NG-tubes
2 Years of Nursing experience in critical care, or Stepdown Nursing positions
Active state license as a Registered Nurse
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS (facility dependent)
Strong documentation skills
Ability to learn and adjust new EMR systems, equipment, and facilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to float and assist others in the delivery of patient care.
