We are looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team and help clients navigate Medicare programs. In this role, you will educate clients on Medicare options (Parts C & D, Med Supp/MediGap, and ancillary products), recommend suitable plans based on their unique needs, and assist with plan enrollments and transitions. You will play a key role in guiding clients through the complexities of Medicare while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate clients on Medicare benefits, including Parts C & D, Med Supp/MediGap, and ancillary products.
- Assist clients with Medicare plan enrollment, transitions, and annual updates.
- Conduct plan comparisons and recommend the best options based on clients’ healthcare needs and budget.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and deadlines, including staying up to date on CMS requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all client interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Valid Life and Health Insurance License.
- AHIP Certification (current and up to date).
- Ability to provide proof of release or intent to release if previously or currently appointed elsewhere.
- Experience in sales and building rapport with customers.
- Ability to contract and become RTS (Ready-to-Sell) with multiple insurance carriers.
- Strong multitasking abilities and experience managing multiple computer screens simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CMS Federal regulations and the ability to work in full compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to clients in an easily understandable way.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Medicare products and enrollments.
- Familiarity with insurance sales platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
