What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Recruitment Coordinator position at Medication Management, LLC?
Qualifications: 2 years minimum experience in Clinical Research required, a nursing degree (RN) is preferable, with working knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to clinical drug trials, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and references as to experience and performance.
Responsible for recruiting patient candidates for clinical drug trials, including identifying patient candidates from medical records, providing information to patients about specific clinical trials, working with other healthcare providers to facilitate patient recruitment, coordinating obtaining medical records for patient candidates, and coordinating scheduling patients for screening visits.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Reviewing medical records, using the inclusion/exclusion criteria of a protocol to identify patient candidates for specific trials
- Collaborating and coordinating with other healthcare providers to enable recruitment of their patient candidates. This will include educating providers on specifics of each clinical trial to enable patient referrals.
- Interviewing potential patient candidates to determine eligibility and interest in participation in specific clinical trials.
- Adhere to GCP, ICH, and FDA guidelines in the conduct of all study related activities
- Coordinating the process of scheduling patients for their screening visits.
- Create, update, maintain all associated paper and electronic records
- Facilitate coordination of care for patients participating in clinical trial with their healthcare providers
A special emphasis will be placed on those candidates with experience in all phases of patient recruitment for clinical trials.
