PHARMACIST CLINICAL – Remote Order Entry
Medication Review, Inc. is the Northwest’s premier provider of pharmacy services, and offers opportunities for pharmacists in a variety of practice settings. Current job openings are in our Telepharmacy department. We are looking for well-qualified pharmacists to provide remote part-time coverage from our main office in Spokane, WA. Pharmacist must be currently licensed in Washington State.
Job description may include, but is not limited to:
· Conducts regular reviews of all patients receiving medication therapy and makes appropriate comments and recommendations to responsible physician and nursing staff
· Participates with physicians and other health professionals as a consultant on pharmacotherapeutics and provider of medication information
· Reviews medication histories on all patients admitted
· Provides formal analysis and consultation on all medication assay reports
· Provides comprehensive medication information services to the medical staff including literature retrieval and critical evaluation
· Provides other clinical pharmacy services as required
· Acts as a liaison between medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff
· Verifies ADD fills and performs typical tasks involved
· Performs related duties as required
· May supervise or direct the work of others
Requirements, Skills and Experience:
- Ability to connect to a reliable internet source
- Must Live in the United States
- Licensed Pharmacist Must have Washington license. Within first 6 months of employment Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska will be required (company reimburses licensing fees.)
- Hospital experience with clinical background
- Computer skills (Experience with Epic, Cerner, CPSI, Meditech, HCS, Athena)
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Responds well under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Flexibility with scheduling
