Job Opportunity: Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor – Medicine Wheel Clinic
Medicine Wheel Clinic, an outpatient MOUD treatment facility in Auburn, Georgia, has been helping individuals with opioid use disorder find stability and recovery since 2008. As we expand in 2025, we are looking to add a Clinical Director or a Part-Time Clinical Supervisor to our dedicated team.
About Us
Medicine Wheel Clinic is a family-run organization with a diverse and supportive staff. We operate independently, without corporate oversight, allowing us to prioritize patient-centered care. Our clinic is highly regarded, having received multiple grants, including the 2025-2026 round of funding for the Georgia opioid abatement grants (combined settlement with opioid distributors McKesson, Cardinal Health, AmerisourceBergen, and Janssen).
Clinical Director
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical operations of the facility.
- Provide individual and group counseling to patients.
- Facilitate clinical supervision for counselors pursuing licensure, college degrees, and certifications.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and work with upper management to update policies and procedures.
- Conduct training, crisis intervention, and clinical team meetings.
- Manage patient accounts, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the Program Director on special projects.
Qualifications:
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) or Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Experience in clinical supervision and managing clinical operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Availability during early morning hours (5:00 am–12:00 pm)
Part-Time Clinical Supervisor
For those unable to commit to the full-time Clinical Director role, we are open to hiring the right candidate for a remote, part-time Clinical Supervisor role to provide clinical supervision and support.
