Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity in Vancouver, WA
The ideal candidate will join a closely knit team of 25 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by associate medical directors, clinical performance nurses, and a program manager. This diverse group values diversity and inclusion, with clinicians from various backgrounds and interests.
They foster meaningful patient care discussions while prioritizing personal connections among team members. Outside of work, the team engages in activities such as watching Sunday football together, enjoying dinners, axe throwing, bowling, and trivia night.
The hospital has a closed ICU during the day with 24/7 intensivist support, requiring no procedures or codes. APPs have considerable autonomy with the right amount of support from physicians, carrying their own patient load and assisting in the observation unit.
Semi-monthly team meetings ensure alignment and collaboration across the practice, with a midweek morning meeting for brief updates and celebrations. A standard seven on/off schedule is available, along with other flexible schedule options. Team members support one another by covering shifts when needed.
