As a Nocturnist at Emory Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to oncology patients during night shifts.
Your responsibilities will include conducting patient interviews, performing physical examinations, and collaborating with physicians to develop care plans. You will also document the delivery of care in individual medical records and assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems and developing care plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least two years of oncology experience and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
- At least two years of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties.
