What are the responsibilities and job description for the Squire position at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament?
Medieval Times is looking for PERFORMERS (Squires) for our live action dinner show. Squires assist all of His Majesty’s Brave Knights. Successful training and performance as a Squire is a prerequisite for advancement into the role of Knight!
WHAT DOES A SQUIRE DO?
The Squire contributes to the overall show quality by consistently maintaining a standard of excellence in assisting Knights before, during and after performances.

WHAT DOES A SQUIRE DO?
The Squire contributes to the overall show quality by consistently maintaining a standard of excellence in assisting Knights before, during and after performances.
- Provides quality performances by learning stunt choreography and assisting Knights in performance of stunts as needed.
- Learns basics of weapons used in choreographed stunts and assists in maintaining quality and safety of weapons and props.
- Assists with maintenance of horses and stables.
- Maintains excellent physical fitness.
- Assists with special functions, shows, groups, demonstrations and/or individual guests as required.
- Trains to become a Knight, and may ultimately advance to a Knight position if qualified.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical abilities test
- Must be able to work with and around horses
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and run in sand for extended periods
- Must be able to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work within a team environment in a fast paced live show format.

THE STARTING PAY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IF $19.16/HOUR. THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION THAT OFFER BENEFITS INCLUDING MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, AND 401K WITH COMPANY MATCH
