Overview Of Position
The BP&A Analyst will work within the Finance Team to support the design, processing, analytics and governance of OPTAVIA’s Commissions and Incentives to over 60,000 OPTAVIA coaches in the US and Asia.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of and be capable of training others on OPTAVIA’s Compensation plan and business programs.
- Interface with Commissions Services team in researching and resolving compensation related inquires to ensure OPTAVIA coaches are properly compensated for their client’s purchases and commission incentives are calculated correctly.
- Deliver reporting and analysis to key business leaders that provides visibility to company performance and future growth expectations.
- Develop modeling to support business decision making in business program development.
- Deliver post program analysis summarizing performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Exigo to test various concepts for programs or plan changes. This would include leveraging their ticket portal, providing business rule documents, performing testing, etc.
- Review and document weekly and monthly commission runs to ensure calculations are accurate, complete and in compliance with Company policies and practices.
- Work with Accounting teams to communicate and process commissions and incentives to ensure they are properly accounted for and paid on a timely basis.
- Support the FPA team in the design and reporting of compensation and incentive related analytics and metrics.
- Support the design and implementation of compensation plan modifications and incentives. Support includes modeling, analysis and system testing of compensation changes and periodic incentives.
- Support any audit deliverables related to commission payouts and provide assistance related to the testing of commission processes.
Scope
Independent contributor that works cross functionally with OPTAVIA, Commissions Services, FP&A, Accounting and Technology teams.
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a minimum of two to five years experience as a Business or Finance Analyst
- Sales compensation experience a plus
- Direct Selling industry experience a plus
- Must have good problem solving and communication skills
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to work independently, take initiative and complete tasks to deadline
- Must possess the ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex business issues in a time-critical environment.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
