About the Role
The Payroll Benefits Coordinator plays a vital role in the administration of payroll functions for a facility. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all pay practices are documented, pay rates and programs are monitored, and merit increases are timely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll in accordance with federal/state/facility/regional pay guidelines.
- Coordinate PIB (pay-in-lieu of benefits) process to verify employees do not elect PIB when enrolled in other benefit plans.
- Post state and federal posters as required by law.
- Maintain accurate employee information in HRIS, including social security number, job title, and FLSA status.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college-level courses in accounting or business preferred.
- Two years' experience in payroll or human resources.
