911 Communications Technician

12-hour shifts with every other weekend off. Starting salary commensurate with experience.
Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent excellent oral, listening and written communication skills, the ability to function effectively and courteously under pressure, type with speed and accuracy, the ability to work in a high stress environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate is adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with internal and external customers. The candidate must be able to determine solutions and positive outcomes. Previous related experience and/or training recommended. Applicant must be able to pass an extensive background criminal history check by fingerprint submission to the FBI, psychological and polygraph examinations. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Shift work will be required.

Pay: $54,487.00 - $61,926.00 per year
