The Medina County Board of Commissioners is seeking PRN RCAs for the Medina County Home.
Responsibilities:
Provides basic resident care under the direction of the shift nurse and nursing supervisor. Assists residents with personal hygiene, keeping them well-groomed and comfortable. Maintains residents’ rooms. Adheres to infection prevention and control procedures. Practices effective communication techniques with residents, visitors, and coworkers. Observes and monitors resident status. Reports unusual occurrences or signs of illness. Assists in the serving of meals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with geriatric patients is helpful, but not required. Good communication skills. Friendly and respectful demeanor. Ability to stand and walk for long periods throughout the day. Solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
Hours:
16-24 hours a week to include some weekends and some holidays.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Morning 1st shift
- Evening 2nd shift
- Midnight 3rd shift
- Weekend availability

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
