What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler position at Medina Creative Accessibility?
The Scheduler will oversee and manage the staff and client schedules working in HPC (Homemaker Personal Care) to balance need and availability. They will also cover home care shifts throughout the week.
Duties include:
- Maintain open and timely communication with all direct support professionals regarding availability, schedules and scheduling concerns
- Know and follow all emergency procedures
- Fill in as a direct care staff to minimize overtime and cover shifts.
- Assist with scheduling conflicts as requested
- Ensure all consumer’s schedules are followed as indicated in their ISP
- Keep master schedule up to date
- Monitor overtime and obtain approval for distribution from COO
- Assist with staff training as requested
- Ensure staff are notified of any scheduling changes
- Assure all documentation is completed for required services
- Attend ISP meetings as requested
- Ensure PTO requests from staff are reviewed and approved
Employee Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid Ohio drivers license, less than 6 points
- Valid Car Insurance
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Strong organizational skills
- Supervision experience is a plus
Reports to the Compliance/HPC Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
