Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing and repairing alarm systems in commercial and residential settings. Fire systems knowledge of Silent Knight and Fire-Lite by Honeywell. We service locations in South Texas, primarily in San Antonio and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities :

System Installation : Install fire alarm systems, including wiring, mounting devices, and connecting equipment in accordance with NFPA standards.
Maintenance and Testing : Conduct regular maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations and complete detailed inspection reports.
Troubleshooting : Respond to service calls and identify and resolve issues with fire alarm systems.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Requirements :

License : Valid State of Texas Fire Alarm license and Drivers License.

Experience : 3 years experience installing and servicing commercial fire alarm systems.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and understanding of fire alarm components.

Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy and safety.

Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills.

Background : Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check.

Reliability : Report to assigned work sites on or before required start times

Accountability : Ability to follow all company protocols, procedures and paperwork on a daily basis

Initiative : Experience in coordinating parts and equipment on the job site.
