Reports to: Assistant General Manager
Rate: $65-75k
Hours: 40 per week
Timeframe: Fulltime, year-round

Job Responsibilities:
- Member, Guest, and Staff Safety
- Use surveillance cameras and monitoring systems to observe and analyze activities in real-time within the Club and around the exterior of the Club buildings.
- Identifies suspicious behavior or security breaches and reports findings to the appropriate staff.
- Monitor and manage access control to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe environment for all members, staff, and guests.
- Emergency Preparedness
- Know all safety, emergency, and evacuations procedures and accident prevention policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain emergency response plans for various situations (e.g., fire, natural disasters, active shooters, medical emergencies).
- Coordination with local law enforcement and emergency services when appropriate.
- Train staff and team on emergency response procedures and conduct regular drills.
- Security Rules Enforcement
- Establish and enforce security procedures for protection of members, guests, and employees and their property.
- Report and document any unusual occurrences or requests to the AGM or GM.
- Stay informed of local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and security.
- Conduct regular security checks and risk assessments to identify possible vulnerabilities.
- Staff Training and Development
- Oversee a team of security guards and lead training efforts on safety procedures, conflict resolution, and customer service.
- Supervise security guards including recruitment, selection, transfer, promotion, and discipline, prepare work schedules, assign security guards responsibilities and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis.
- Foster a culture of safety and security awareness among all staff members.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or a similar field, preferably in the hospitality or private club industry, but not required.
- Strong understanding of security and safety procedures, emergency response, and risk management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Proficient in security technology and systems preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
