Job Title: Server Assistant
Reports to: Member Dining Service Manager
Rate: $15/hr
Hours: 20-30 hours per week, part-time
Timeframe: Year-round

This year, we are celebrating our 100-year anniversary with exciting events planned to celebrate our traditions and legacy. And, in 2026, we are hosting the Presidents Cup, a premier golf event between the United States and an International team that represents the rest of the world excluding Europe.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare dining areas for Members and Guests by cleaning tables and/or preparing tablecloths; setting decorations, condiments, candles, heaters, napkins, service plates, utensils, etc.
- Protect establishment and Members by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean; replacing damaged or soiled pages, cleaning chalkboards, etc.
- Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to Member spills or other special needs.
- Support servers by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash container liners, and bus stations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities including menu knowledge and service standard tests.
- Observe tables and take note of dirty, clean, and occupied tables.
- Assist with product upkeep and stocking.
- Own every member request.
- Help with basic food prep as needed and light cleaning in the dining room, serving stations or kitchen areas.
- Handle tasks unsupervised at times, including being proactive in tasks that need to be completed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, most holidays, and all Club black-out dates.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must possess or obtain a valid food handlers’ certification prior to employment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must be able to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be willing to adapt in a changing environment.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
