Job Description & Requirements

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Sonography is preferred
- Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech
- MUST be proficient in general and OB, strong OB skills required
- BLS from the AHA required
- Must have an active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). License can either be permanent or temporary.
- Must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN
- Must be capable of operating state of the art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors and other supportive devices.
- Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment.
- Must demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
