About the Position
The ideal candidate will have experience working with 256, 64, and 16 slice GE scanners and be able to operate them to produce high-quality images of patients. The technologist will work in a comprehensive stroke unit and level 1 trauma hospital for pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate GE scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
- Scan adult and pediatric patients in various settings, including outpatient, ER, and in-house exams
- Maintain accurate records and follow-up procedures as required
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
Additional Requirements:
- Outpatient, inpatient, and ER work setting experience
- IV Starts, PACS, and contracts skills
- Experience with strokes and pediatric traumas (level 1)
