Job Description:
A Travel CT Technologist is sought for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukie, Oregon.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans to diagnose various medical conditions
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and maintaining their safety during the procedure
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or equivalent
- Experience working in a CT department, preferably in an acute care setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
The selected candidate will work at a short-term acute care hospital with 59 total staff beds. The hospital uses Epic charting system and offers free parking.
