Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 02 / 18 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours Employment Type : Travel NO BLOCK SCHEDULING Start Date : ASAP Specialty : ER On Call : No Weekend : Yes - 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule - might be scheduled to work 1 day of the weekend, 2 days or all 3 days Floating : Yes – Peds possible Contract Length : 13 weeks Required Certifications : - State license - ACLS - BCLS by AHA - PALS - TNCC - ENPC (pending accepted) - NIH Required Experience : - Level I trauma experience REQUIRED - 2 year minimum experience PREFERRED - Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias - EPIC charting experience Preferred Experience : - Unit accepts 1st time travelers - Continuous IV sedation and Procedural Sedation Administration experience - Triage experience Additional info about the unit : Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department. Currently experiencing high 1 : 5-6 ratios. It could be up to 8 depending how many patients come in and holidays. - Traveler has Level I trauma experience - Traveler agrees to work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule - Traveler acknowledgment of high ratios 1 : 5-6 ratios.
