We are seeking a dedicated Prior Authorization Coordinator to join our team! As a Prior AuthorizationCoordinator, you will be responsible for requesting authorizations for all applicable incoming orders. Your duties will include collecting and reviewing necessary documentation, contacting ordering physicians or their offices for additional information when required, completing required authorization submission forms, and submitting them to payors to obtain an authorization determination.
Pay Rate : $24.00 / hr. plus quarterly incentive and bonus options
Shift : Monday - Friday / 7AM - 4PM or 8AM - 5PM
City : Irvine, CA
Prior AuthorizationCoordinator Job Requirements :
1 years' experience as a Prior AuthorizationCoordinator
Ability to handle 25-30 Accounts Per Day (new submissions) as well as follow up
Knowledge of reading medical and clinical records - training provided
Good understanding of appeals process - training provided
