Epic Rehabilitation System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Epic Rehabilitation System Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Epic and related applications to support the rehabilitation services of Medisys Health Network, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and innovative solutions to the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Epic and related applications.
• Analyze procedures and problems, report findings, and make recommendations for resolutions.
• Proactively increase knowledge of Epic EHR software, health system operations, and work with the Epic project team to translate business needs into EHR functionality.
• Interact with clients and build problem-solving partnerships with clinical and business providers, customers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with clinical hospital software and/or hardware technology, database, screen handler, query languages, including ability to design, configure, train, or implement clinical systems.
• Healthcare support experience is desired in areas such as billing, scheduling, access services, and health information management.
• Hands-on Epic clinical systems experience desirable.
• Prior experience working on a project team, clinical systems support, and general knowledge of healthcare information issues preferred.
