Responsibilities :
- Provide daily care to animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring overall health.
- Perform routine cage changes and maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including biosafety protocols (BSLI / BSLII).
- Assist with receiving and properly housing animal shipments.
- Complete and maintain records, such as census sheets, room logs, and inventories.
- Conduct health surveillance checks and report abnormal conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain and sanitize equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with supply inventory, ordering, and stocking.
- Perform humane euthanasia as required, adhering to established protocols.
- Execute other assigned tasks with diligence and attention to detail.
