Under broad supervision, the Associate Labeling Specialist supports labeling projects by ensuring product artwork content complies with state and federal regulations.
Major Responsibilities
- Packaging Submission : Review, verify, and complete packaging submissions to the graphic design team, authorizing label content based on regulatory structure and documented product claims.
- Documentation Evaluation : Assess supporting documentation for relevance to desired product claims.
- Compliance Review : Review, approve, and document product labeling (packaging / collateral) to ensure compliance with regulatory structure and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Auditing : Periodically audit historic files, processes, and databases. Maintain company / department databases, logs, and files.
- Customer Service : Provide timely and effective communication and support to internal customers (product divisions) using a customer service approach.
- Training Support : Assist in training divisional personnel on regulatory product structure, labeling requirements, and labeling procedures.
