Duties :
- Room patients - escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and assist with medical history documentation
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including pelvic exams, pap smears, and ultrasounds
- Provide patient education on women's health topics, including contraception, prenatal care, and menopause management
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and pregnancy tests, and accurately record results in patient charts.
- Create patients charts, they use Athena EMR system
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical history, medications, and allergies
- Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and messages promptly and professionally. Call patients to giving results
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and surgeries as required. Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and equipment for procedures and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Stock exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure equipment is in proper working order. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas.
