What You’ll Be Doing:
🔹 Process and manage ambulance billings accurately and efficiently.
🔹 Review patient care reports for accuracy and completeness.
🔹 Determine appropriate charges, billing codes, and insurance claims.
🔹 Handle collections for delinquent accounts, ensuring proper documentation.
🔹 Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
🔹 Stay up to date on medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, and insurance regulations.
🔹 Generate detailed financial and compliance reports for management.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 2 years of medical billing experience (ambulance billing experience preferred)
✔ Familiarity with community paramedicine
✔ Knowledge of ambulance coding/billing
✔ High School Diploma or GED
✨ Nice to Have:
➕ Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) or Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer (CACO) – or willingness to obtain
➕ Experience in building and growing a department
