What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Care Coordinator I position at Medix?
- Primarily responsible for patient triage and administrative tasks
- 2-3 weeks of training w/ Supervisor expected before becoming independent
- Rooming patients
- Triaging patients
- Updating patient records / information
- Sterilizing and stocking patient rooms
- Following up with patients over the phone
- referrals / patient inquiries & results / med records requests
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
- 2 year of clinical MA experience
- Active AHA BLS certification
- Medical Assistant Certification
- only required after conversion to FTE (90 day grace period)
- Pulmonology experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
- EMR experience
- Strong communication / customer service skills
- Demonstrates self-direction and initiative
- Detail oriented and organized
- Team player mentality
- Ability to multi-task
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5pm EST
