Actively Hiring a Coding Denials Specialist for top Wisconsin Health System.

Full Remote! (Must sit in one of the following states- WI, MN, TX, FL, MN or TN)

Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm

  • Day to day :

understanding why one of the coders coded something a certain way

  • Understanding of reimbursement side
  • Understanding of appeals and payors
  • Multi speciality experience
  • hands on coding experience
  • work in EPIC
  • This team will work on a larger scale and perform trending and analyis of denials
  • collaborate with other coders and epic team to understand reason for denials
  • will not be performing education

    • 3-5 Must Haves :

    Coding Cert AAPC or AHIMA

  • 3 years coding / denials experience minimum
  • Strong coding and payer / denials understanding
  • Nice to Have :

    • Reimbursement coding cert

  • Wide variety of certs
  • CCDS
