Job Title : Data Lake Architect (Data Bricks)
Duration : 6 months Contract, could be extended
Work Location : 100% Remote - CST hours
Compensation Starting : $65-70 / hr W2
ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a Data Lake Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our relocation services clients in the Illinois area.
They are growing significantly through merger and acquisition activity. This Data Architect will support the merger and transition from SQL on prem data to their cloud environment.
Day to Day :
- Weekly basis they meet within project teams to indicate where they are with integration
- Task day to day, transitioning that potential package to data factory or dealing with additional integration work with legacy SQL source to their target
- A lot of it is (they have a list of tables, tackle the list one by one) - make sure coding is appropriate, that data is flowing to downstream components, creating data factory processing to move data around
- All tracked within DevOps
- Mapping and merging data (those mapping documents will show new system and old system)
