Job Summary
Medix is seeking a qualified Director of Behavioral Health Programs to lead and oversee mental health and addiction programs within our Behavioral Health Department.
This role focuses on program development, stakeholder engagement, staff supervision, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health and addiction support services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive health promotion programs aligned with agency goals.
- Conduct needs assessments, research, and data analysis to develop evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate with community members and organizations to create culturally responsive interventions.
- Integrate traditional knowledge and practices into health promotion initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Behavioral Science or related field.
- Licensure as a mental health professional registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting.

- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
