Under the guidance of the Mechanical Engineering Manager and senior project engineers, the Mechanical Engineer II plays a key role in the development and execution of new products. This position requires a strong technical background and hands-on experience in applying engineering principles within the field.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and contribute to complex engineering projects focused on the design and development of power generation enclosure systems.
- Plan and oversee initiatives aimed at solving product or process challenges, incorporating innovative design approaches for improved equipment, products, or manufacturing methods.
- Summarize and present findings from design evaluations to engineering teams.
- Offer technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Develop 3D models, technical drawings, and bills of materials while adhering to established release procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and maintaining situational awareness within the facility.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in mechanical system design and manufacturing within the power generation sector.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, as well as standard office applications (MS Office Suite).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
