Job Summary:
We are searching for a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team and lead the creation of innovative products across multiple formats, such as liquids, softgels, powders, capsules, and tablets. This position is vital in overseeing the full development cycle, from concept to completion, ensuring all products meet high-quality standards and regulatory guidelines. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Quality Assurance, to drive successful product launches and business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales team and directly engage with customers to understand their product needs and offer expert advice on ingredient selection and formulation techniques.
- Act as the primary technical resource, providing support and guidance to Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to advance product development initiatives.
- Utilize your deep knowledge of market trends and ingredient science to design solutions that cater to specific customer requirements and business goals.
- Take an active role in project meetings and manage assigned tasks to ensure seamless execution of product development timelines.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documents, research materials, and presentations to support customer and internal team discussions.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of all product development activities, maintaining thorough records for compliance and reference.
- Stay agile in responding to evolving business opportunities and collaborate with the Sales team to capture new prospects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Science, or Nutritional Science; an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is preferred.
- At least 5-6 years of hands-on experience in product formulation and development, particularly in a variety of dosage forms (liquids, softgels, powders, capsules, and tablets).
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
