Key Primary Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Routinely perform protein expression in bacteria.
- Lab experiments such as molecular cloning, microbial fermentation, cell lysis and clarification, protein solubilization and protein refolding.
- Further develop and optimize certain Process and Analytic steps
- Lead or assist scientists to design and execute experiments based on proposed project scope.
- Assist with downstream purification work using AKTA and/or crossflow systems for biotherapeutics purification and handle a range of analytical equipment for biotherapeutics characterization.
- Analyze data and interpret results.
- Regularly update project progress in internal and external project meetings and prepare final reports.
- Perform and assist with general lab maintenance, buffer preparation, including cleaning and restocking supplies and managing a regular schedule in the lab.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelors (with at least 2-3 years’ experience) or Master’s degree preferably in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related life sciences fields.
Preferred Candidates Have
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of cell culture
- Hands on experience with purification techniques, PCR, gel electrophoresis, western blotting techniques
- Experience in techniques such as ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry
- Ability to work independently and effectively while engaged in collaborative studies.
- Strong skill in accurate record-keeping and ability to organize, analyze, and calculate data.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply protocols in conducting research.
Salary : $25 - $33
