The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for overseeing the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies within a company, warehouse, or facility. This role includes maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing items, preparing shipping labels and documents, and properly storing materials in designated areas. The position may also involve coordinating with other staff members or external service providers involved in the shipping and receiving processes.

- Oversee all shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing, R&D, and clinical trial environment.
- Ensure timely receipt of materials, completing necessary documentation and distributing inventory-managed materials to support manufacturing operations.
- Maintain proper storage of ERP materials and monitor for expired items, completing scrap reports with appropriate approvals.
- Process in-house requisitions and perform necessary ERP transactions for finance purposes.
- Conduct daily cycle counts requested by the supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage hazardous waste, including physical storage, disposal, and scheduling of pickups, while maintaining proper documentation as per EPA regulations.
- Use SAP Management System to log product receipts.
- Handle all outbound shipping, including temperature-sensitive and cold chain shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers and brokers for shipping bulk and finished products to third-party warehouses and international intercompany affiliates.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple teams and in various health and research environments.
