What are the responsibilities and job description for the Switchboard Operator position at Medix?
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of PBX Operator. As a member of our operations team, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of calls, managing emergency situations, and providing critical support to our patients and medical professionals.
Duties:
- Handle 200-300 calls per day, including answering and routing calls.
- Manage emergency calls, including hospital-to-doctor communications, and route them as needed.
- Process mail, prepare and mail billing forms, and handle overflow patient calls.
