A private mobile wound care company seeking a dedicated compassionate reliable and detailoriented Medical Assistant to join our Team. In this role you will perform both routine clinical and administrative duties and be willing to travel to multiple locations primarily in the Rockland and Westchester NY County areas.
Responsibilities :
Assist Nurse Practitioners (NPs) during patient visits in completing patient care and support duties.
Input and sign patient assessments documentation and notes within 24 hours.
Input in EMR system all patient treatment plans at time of visit.
Participate in weekly virtual continued education programs (as needed).
Review wound progress on a weekly basis or as needed with Providers.
Perform dressing changes as needed and / or ordered per Provider and POC.
Qualifications / Requirements :
CCMA Certificate
Associate degree (preferred)
2 years of experience in a specific medical field and / or medical office
Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology
Working hours : 9 am to 5 pm MondayFriday
Competitive Salary Ranging $70000 $80000 annually!
